This was the last candle I completed of the original nine, though it wears the number seven. I found the word “anemoia” in a dictionary—meaning nostalgia for a time you never knew. That fit exactly how I’ve always felt about 1970s Paris. Olive leaf was the constant through every test; the rest came together over time.
