WOV Object 02: “Deflated”
Deflated is a gesture caught in soft collapse—an object that appears to melt, rest, and lean all at once. Draped gently over the edge of a table, shelf, or credenza, its pooled form suggests a moment paused mid-surrender. Glazed in a deep, high-gloss black, the piece echoes movement while remaining utterly still.
Inside, a shallow cavity offers space to gather small things—keys, intentions, incense cones. Burn becomes offering. Storage becomes ritual.
Deflated carries a strange kind of grace, as if it exhaled into its final shape. It does not ask for your attention—but when it receives it, it rewards you with quiet resonance.
It’s a form that doesn't perform. It simply is. A gesture of letting go.
