WOV Object 04: “Cloak”
Ceremony meets simplicity in Cloak, a layered ceramic object whose design subtly references the form of a lidded offering bowl. The top lifts to reveal a shallow chamber inside—just enough space for a burning cone. As smoke rises, it escapes through the central opening, recalling the hush of breath passing through cloth.
Made in collaboration with Rider Ceramics, Cloak was shaped to be seen and used—part altar, part everyday. Its duality is its charm: modest in appearance, generous in effect.
This is a container for unseen things. It makes space for the scent of becoming.
