WOV Object 01: “Base”
Born from transformation, Base began as repurposed glass with the original intention to take the shape of a square plate—something to simply catch the ash. But through a steady reimagining, it took on new posture, new weight. Now shaped from the lower half of post-consumer liquor bottles, this vessel finds softness in its upright stance: a tiny platform with just enough presence to feel like ceremony.
Each piece is hand-blown in Philadelphia by Remark Glass, where reuse is ritual and no two forms are quite the same. Designed to cradle a single incense cone, Base becomes a resting place for stillness, layered scent, and light smoke that curls up and out in its own time.
This is the entry point. The support structure. A grounding presence.
